I've been looking at reviews of the Ascend Mate 7 on Amazon and YouTube lately, and the majority of them are quite favorable, to my surprise. While I've had a Huawei MyTouch and was very impressed with the call quality and volume of the phone, I've yet to partake of a Huawei smartphone.
With the possibility of Huawei making (I assume the higher end) Nexus phablet this year, what can you tell me about your experiences with the Ascend Mate 7, in terms of feel in hand, performance, reception (T-Mo, specifically), call quality, and battery life (both standby and screen on times)? Do any of you have concerns regarding any issues with privacy, given stories of companies spying for the Chinese government?
