So after running quatrimus ICS for a while I decided to see if Drews iscream kernel would work on Backside IHO turns out it does but home and menu get switched. I've fixed that by editing my kl files in system/usr/keylayout. Anyone else try this?

How's it Run? It was actually supposed to be for 4.0, but I didn't understanding his wording. It confuses me. :-\

So far so good I've got the new goveners and started playing. I haven't really ran it long enough to say a lot. Just was curious if anyone else tried this or knew of any reasons I shouldn't.

Just double checked his thread and he says it's for 2.3 based roms and cm9. Not officially for cm7 but running unofficial software seems to be the thing to do with these phones

I'll test it with you. :P

Thunder_keypad.Kl and qwerty.Kl keys 139 and 102 need to be swapped if you want your keys to work normally

Edit: I just used es file manager to do it and they were fixed after reboot

I'll just use Button Remapper. :/

Sounds easier lol I searched the market and didn't find it. I figured out how to do it with the files by searching this forum

Also a glitch. After screen off when you wake it the lock screen stays black till you touch it

FYI- we did test out the Gingerkernel, the predecessor to this kernel. There where many issues at the time. Now tdm is looking into porting it over, but please be patient and let him do his work. ;)

I actually just restored iho backside and flashed the kernel out of sheer curiosity, so far my camera doesn't work...bound to find more errors, oh n it rebooted my phone within first five mins of running

Lol yeah curiosity is why I did it also. knowing that I had a backup to restore gave me no fear of it.
I didn't have a reboot issue but did find the cam not working. Makes me wonder if the kernel is part of why the cam isn't working on quatrimus.

I think I'm going to run with this for a bit now. I've disabled screen on/off animation and turned off ICS rotation animation. Running scary governor at 806/600 the screen is only slightly slow to wake now and camera is working

Got so p!553d the first day of running it, oh and it gets worse, fעk!n went to recovery, wiped everything, went to restore, "md5 mismatch!" I looked...turned...and shoved a remote up my butt....sat the f׀k down ate my snack i had prepared gingerly, was tempted to throw the phone, didn't, and grudgingly reflashed iho from sdcard....but bugs mainly were camera, YouTube didnt work, n it rebooted me every g#d d4m? 5 minutes..sorry guys....

Btw anyone else notice tapatalk doesn't work?

EDIT: i did not shove a remote up my butt
