Optimus S not recognized by the computer. Tried on windows 7 and xp but they still dont recognize it. USB debugging is on and I installed the LG Updater drivers, still wont work. It is rooted running ThundeROM-V1.6.2 baseband V9 and Xionia.005 kernel. Does anyone know how to fix this? :(

Do other usb devices work in this port, and have you tried using a different port for the phone?

Mine just stopped working. Now I can only listen to those rare podcasts which the wonky mobile version of Doubletwist decides to update correctly.

I had to install the LG drivers before mine or my friend's computers would work at all. Didn't even get the USB connected notification. So if your still having problems grab those.

Was it ever recognized before, after installing the LG Driver? I had to restart my Win 7 computer and reboot the phone when I had this problem last week. Everything worked fine when I installed it last year for the ZVD downgrade.

The drivers thing has been covered a bunch of times. We should make a sticky containing the drivers that says install this or your phone wont connect.

It has been covered. Shouldn't they come on a CD from LG when you get the phone? I've never had to worry about them, but if you can't even have it recognized in certain OS's without them...
