Skylacan by chance where did you find the file you needed I did the same thing but titanium on saved data not app I restarted fresh with a with and in the update software pushed the update automaticly and it came up with a fail to just need to find the file and I know where to put them if you remember where you found it would be a big help I have the custom recovery everything is good but when I flash it says can't verify meta-inf?

perhaps the custom recovery is not compatible with the retail update zip

Maybe your right how would I go about getting it if to try it without the custom recovery and has anyone else have these this compatibility issues?

try the clockwork recovery posted in the other thread, see if that lets u use the update

I know that this is not the recovery spot but if I want to get the update I will switch my recovery image to the clockwork recovery but I already have an image so now I want to switch I try switch by putting recovery image commands in and it say no directory Found can someone post in the recovery thread exactly what someone should to to get the clockwork recovery while already haven the amon ra style recovery installed. Thanks

Smccloud what's will thw change key mean and do you know how to apply the clockwork recovery and try flashing the update haven quite the probblem trying to apply

I got the file from here (the first one non odexed version):

then I just pasted the ones i needed to system/app using root explorer and installed the update from system restore by putting the full update.zip on the sd card

Ya I tryed to move some files from the update that was posted and combo the one you gave me and the radio would not work one the ota file you sent me and I now only get errors of a meta_inf file now and I don't get the deskclock stuff but I almost got the thing going on the other recover but the flash the image part I had to refraze some commands but I can't figure the last dang command to flash the recovery image/sdcard/recovery thing can you right The right command then I will flash he upadte when I get the full clockwork going

Got another one coming. I'll probably back off this until the 30 days is up so next time I can just use TEP, because this is a bunch of hoopla having to have my account billed again, then credited, and waiting a week, ect.

ya I just joined the club for another stupid reason I tryed to flash the update after wipe then I made the mistake of pressing wipe system on phone thru clockwork and do anyone know how to get a system file back on the phone I have a backup but can't flash because it won't show in clockwork says no files if I put the hole file the way it is on the sdcard help haha

Oh and whats more I get to call sprint back. They made the new "order" of the phone, yet the order is on hold coz they need more info. Why not get the info when I was on the phone?

Sprint is a royal pain in the ass and I'm fixing to just cancel it.

I could unbrick what I did. I at least got to the android screen
