Best buys, any Sprint store, (I got a body glove fitted hard case for cheap from a Sprint store) and most any of those kiosks in the malls that sell skins. Ask for one that fits the Optimus S.

I got 2 Otter boxes from amazon.com half off. Anything made for the Optimus S will fit the V perfectly.

They make otter boxs, and they come with screen protectors you can't even see! I've had two of them there AMAZING. I really recommend it. And it comes with year warranty!

I would highly recommend the otter box. I was in the same boat as you, looking for a good case that would protect my phone but yet not take away from the slim and light weight design, and this was by far the best solution. I love my otterbox, and it works / looks fantastic. Well worth the money (if my memory serves me correctly I believe I paid around $30).

I wanted to post this comment for ALL LG OPTIMUS V/S owners out there that may be looking for a decent case/protector for their phone, hopefully this will help. This is the comment that I just posted on Amazon......

Very Nice Phone Case/Protector!
I just wanted to post a quick comment about this OtterBox Commuter Case that I just ordered. I received the product very quickly, it arrived in good shape & with everything included. I have had my LG Optimus V phone for around 1-year now, in that time I have tried several
different cases, protectors & skins. Nothing ever fit correctly and/or just didn't last very long. I finally came across this product that says it is specifically for the LG Optimus V. AND THEY WERE RIGHT! You can't beat this product, for this price....It came with a Clear Film-Screen Protector, a Silicone/Rubber-like Skin that fits over the phone and a Hard-Shell back & sides Cover. So basically you're getting the entire Protection Package with this one product. I have only had it on my Phone for One-Day and already love it. It was exactly what I have been looking for.

Hey I think you should try out the Optimus V Hybrid Gel Case. I think it is really good as it has rubber on the inside and a cover if plastic on the outside for maximum protection. You could get it for like 5 bucks on amazon.

I've had pretty good luck with Amazon, and for the prices you can't beat it. I've got a drawer full for the price of 1 at best buy. Screen protectors are worth it too, a Buck and change for 5!
