Optimus V very bad signal (cm9 quattrimus installed)

I am glad to know I am not the only one. I hope VM is working on it. At lest I have 3g at home now. Thanks for the info.

I hate to say it, I'm usually a proponent of Virgin and giving them the benefit of the doubt, but I too have been experiencing random cutting out of my 3G data or all service in general, slow speeds I don't notice as I've just gotten used to them. Doesn't matter what ROM I'm running.

Ditto here too near Detroit with a VM Optimus V. At home I am lucky to get 0.02Mbps. However, as soon as I cross the geographical border out of Detroit, I can get up to 2.00Mbps. I have noticed that the speed of the network "improves" "significantly" between 3am and 5am (I can sometimes get 0.10Mbps). It is completely unusable most of the time. I'm glad to see I am by far not the only one with this problem, but will VM actually do anything about it? Fat chance.

If you hit up the wabash and fort wayne area you will get full bars

No you wont I live in Fort Wayne, IN and 9/10 i only have 1bar. Sprint really only has towers along the highways so unless you live by one your out of luck.
