I have always done the factory reset and the wipes at the same time and generally have a specific rom that I am flashing. I was just curious what specifically is left behind with each part of the process.
What does a factory reset leave on the sd? Are all settings removed? Is every file removed from the sd? Say you have multiple roms on the sd, are they left behind or is the only way to have a nandroid to restore? Can you have multiple nandroids?
How about the same for the wipes that follow the reset?
I hope this doesnt sound too noob as I have flashed a bunch of roms but never really left much else on my sd.
