For sure man!

Right now the 3t is my daily driver and will be the rest of the weekend. I'll make up my mind either Monday or Tuesday and keep you guys posted.

The 3t is still on MM and I'm really looking forward to Nougat for this thing. Even on MM the 3t is easily the fastest phone I've ever used.

My one gripe about the 3t is no "always on" screen or feature? The V20 has the top screen that's always on and shows notifications which is really a neat feature.

The V20 had my eye of the major flagships. I'm a fan of the removable battery, sd card, and IR blaster. But the specter of bootloops, and dealing with upgrades filtered through LG and ATT did not appeal to me. Not to mention the price. Oh yeah, the screen is not amoled either. But I could probably live with that.

Agreed. I've come to not like carrier branded phones. Just seems like branded phones are always slower?

Again, the 3t is super fast. Easily the fastest phone I've ever used.

The V20 has a ton of features though. If I was a camera guy, it would be the V20. Still trying to make up my mind though.

I was a Samsung fan until the S6 (aka Samsung's version of the iPhone) came out. I also got tired of the bloat that came on my carrier branded Galaxy S4. I could escape that with the iPhone, and seriously considered the S7+. But I see enough of iOS on my iPad and couldn't convince myself to leave Android. Another appeal from iOS was the long term support. But for the price, they better support it for years to come.

Fortunately the OP3 made a positive impression on me and while I really wanted to go Nexus this year for the software support, the Pixel intervened and turned me to the OP3. I have not looked back. For the price of the OP3, I can buy one and use it for a couple of years, then buy a new one in a couple of years and still have money left over.

For myself.

My phone was supposed to ship on Jan 5th with a Jan 11th delivery date.

My phone shipped on the 2nd and was here in California by the 4th. Super fast by DHL man.

It's well worth the wait!!!

I sure hope so. I contacted their chat and here is what she said word for word:

"Uncontrollable Clearance Delay, they will just need a note from the warehouse before it will pass from customs."

She said expect it to move from customs in 2-3 days though

Damn it! From the OPO forums people are saying this is pretty common. Found 10 pages of information on their forums. You and I must be on the order! I might try and contact DHL for fun.

OP should just post a boilerplate note about that in every order they receive. Might save them some time answering the same question from new buyers.

I had the same delay on mine, but had read enough to know it was the rule and not the exception. So I knew to just be patient.

I also had a little fiasco with my shipping. They used DHL and it was stuck about 2 hours away from me at the DHL plant.

I ended up just driving up there to get it as it was my only day off and they required a signature upon delivery.

Again, very well worth the wait and drama to get this phone!!

I actually got a separate text message from DHL (don't know how, I don't have an account with them) that had a link to customize your delivery. It allowed me to "pre-sign" for my delivery and choose where the package should be left. i.e. front door, porch, rear door etc.

Also mine just touched down in Los Angeles, i expect it to be delivered tomorrow hopefully although it says today by end of day I highly doubt that.
