Yep. Zero lag on anything. Continue to be impressed with the Sony software and design language. Feels more like a professional device than a toy.

So I've used it for two days now and I'm not sold on it yet. The screen is fine, but there have been occasions where the viewing angles have been an issue. The camera is also not as good as I was expecting. Intelligent auto seems to do a poor job, and I can't seem to get it to produce a good high quality picture without fiddling. Battery life has been very good though, and the size I don't mind so much. (It's big, but not horrifically so)

I do keep encountering some strange issues that have repeated, but are not repeatable on purpose. On a few occasions the phone has just flat out refused to send messages without a reboot, in a strong signal area. It's also been struggling to receive them. The screen is also oddly non responsive with the keyboard, dropping letters randomly, missing multitouch input (like if I go to hit a letter and my finger is still on the previous one). I've tried the sony one, the google one, as well as swiftkey, and all three do the exact same thing. It just has been adding up to frustration because I can't type anything without it happening.

Overall, I am just okay with it. It's a good device, but I may be returning it because of the issues I've been encountering. It's unfortunate since it's a pretty good phone otherwise.

I'm not experiencing any of those issues, and I don't live in a great signal area. Certainly no issues with the keyboard. You may have a bad device.

The one I got to play with at the store before it is out seem not to have any problems. Keyboard was quick and responsive...The few pictures I took with the various options seem very good. Maybe you do have a bad unit. That would be my luck.

Some additional random notes:

3) I'm not thrilled with the sound quality. it's ok for android, but not great compared to windows phone and iOS. I compared the same track using the Z1s,an HTC DNA, an iPhone 5, and a Lumia 928. Out of the box, the Z1s sound is very tinny and flat. turning on crystal audio helps a bit, and fiddling with the equalizer definitely improved things to be a little better than the DNA (which is clear but has too much bass...thanks beats audio!). Both iPhone and Windows Phone had a much fuller sound. Not a deal breaker but if you're an audiophile you may want to try things out yourself.

According to the fine print I spotted on Sony's Z1s page, the offer doesn't begin until January 22nd. You'll also need the Xperia Lounge app pre-loaded on the phone (I suspect it is, but, since I don't have a Z1s at this time, I can't confirm). I was using the earbuds from a galaxy s4...the controls play nice with android and Wp8. Not bad fidelity really.

I think the pictures may just be how sony's album app displays them. I looked at a couple on my laptop and tablet, and they looked significantly better.

They keyboard thing I don't have an explanation for. Just strange.

A little disappointing actually. I'm a big music lover (what a surprise huh!) and I would have thought one thing that would be right on the Z1s is the quality of music.

the speaker is pretty good...just the stereo audio that's a problem. Still my favorite android device...the Moto x comes close but the camera kills it for me.

The G Flex is a giant phone.....6in screen! Way too big IMO. In fact, I'm a little concerned about the size of the Z1s. After seeing the pictures earlier in this thread with a Note 3, I was surprised at how big it appeared. I'm not going to decide on which phone I select until I can go into a TMo store and conduct a "hands-on." Even going to take my in-ear phones so I can audition the audio.

That's good news. I hope my perception matches yours. I want to like this phone. I am planning on signing-up for Jump though so regardless of what I decide to get, I can change in six months. There will be a bunch of new phones by the middle of the year!

The girl at tmo told me if didn't like it after 2 months I could just bring it back and try something else. Don't know how true that is or not. She also said with jump no need to wait 6 months. I dony know how true this all is but I will question it when I go Wednesday for it!!

I just switched to Tmo from at&t. So far so good. Glad I made the switch. I'm looking forward to using Jump...Once some new phones come out.
