Ordered unlocked on Amazon, will my local Verizon store give me any hassle activating?

Upon hearing that the Verizon release was delayed to the 13th, I decided to order from Amazon. But I am a bit worried that my local store personnel may not know what to do or may not want to activate it. Am I likely to have any issues?

Probably yes, unless you're lucky enough to go to a VZW store in which they aren't worried about activating a device they don't carry. If they won't work with you, request an activated nano sim card and put it in there. It will work fine.

Very good, thanks. That tipped the scale for me and I decided to wait until the 13th and get it on contract, saving both the hassle and some money (at the expense of branding). I went ahead and canceled the order.
