Ordering from Online Verizon.com

Agreed. When they allowed preorders of the iPhone people were able to get it delivered the day it was available. Some even got it a day before.

Yeah, that's a little ridiculous and now you can walk into any store and pick up an iPhone 4 without any problem.

Anyone thinking that maybe Verizon is doing this on purpose to in a way show Apple that they really don't need them and it's Apple that needs Verizon? I mean they were pulling out all of the stops for Apple with the iPhone and iPad2 and so far they've all been pretty disappointing launches in terms of numbers. I mean it seems that the only iPad2 that you can find is the Verizon one right now.

I know this is sort of a random and perhaps overbaked theory, but it seems to me that Verizon wants to show Apple that Verizon customers are smarter and won't pay a premium for average technology wrapped in a shiny shell. I think Apple is going to have to make the iPhone 5 LTE capable, otherwise they will be dead on Verizon.

Someone with a twitter should tweet Verizon and ask what time will the phones be available online.

Sorry if some1 posted this info allready!! I just got some 411 from verizon 611 about the TB. The rep was very open and helpfull. I asked when the TB will be available for online sales he stated after finding nothing in his notes that probally 12am as most phones in the past have been available at that time the iphone was a speacial release time" He also advised I can call Customer service at 6am and order by phone but either way I would not have the phone until friday the next question was does he know how many phones the two corp. stores by me wil have in stock on reease day. I advised him I was a customer who waited online for the storm 1 for 4 hrs. after the computers crashed slowing sign ups and that the store in the mall only had 40 phones lucky for us we got there ealry to be #34-35 so we made the cut, he replied they have anyway of checking stock at stores they do there own stocking orders and he dont anticipate this phone to be as popular as the storm 1 or Iphone 4, hope this helps. so now do I order online, by phone and wait for phone to get here on friday or go to store and wait in any possible line? Maybe I should flip a coin?

Business Address

If I preorder online tonight, will Verizon let me ship to my work address? I've read people complaining that Verizon would only allow the phones to be shipped to the billing address (my home address-where there will be no one to sign)?

I have had two phones and one network delivered to work w/o problem. All were ordered online. Gives you the option during the checkout process
