Agreed. When they allowed preorders of the iPhone people were able to get it delivered the day it was available. Some even got it a day before.
Yeah, that's a little ridiculous and now you can walk into any store and pick up an iPhone 4 without any problem.
Anyone thinking that maybe Verizon is doing this on purpose to in a way show Apple that they really don't need them and it's Apple that needs Verizon? I mean they were pulling out all of the stops for Apple with the iPhone and iPad2 and so far they've all been pretty disappointing launches in terms of numbers. I mean it seems that the only iPad2 that you can find is the Verizon one right now.
I know this is sort of a random and perhaps overbaked theory, but it seems to me that Verizon wants to show Apple that Verizon customers are smarter and won't pay a premium for average technology wrapped in a shiny shell. I think Apple is going to have to make the iPhone 5 LTE capable, otherwise they will be dead on Verizon.
