Ordering From Samsung

I'm leaning towards the tmo version through samsung. I don't plan on taking the phone to another carrier and I like having wifi calling and hd + voice and visual voicemail

Past experience with TMO thru Sammy, just take old Sim and put in new phone and all good. I have never been charged an activation fee from TMO.

Wifi calling I can confirm. It support voLTE but not HD

It's very confusing. I just made a call to my other phone and I was able to surf at same time.

I want to say Verizon has hd+ now I think, that I know I won't get lol. Eh I'll still give unlocked a try.

I never had any issues browsing and talking on the phone at the same time on my US unlocked phones on Verizon or previously T-Mobile. That was an issue with crappy CDMA technology which is almost non existent now. With GSM, LTE, 5G networks that issue isn't there.

Isn't VoLTE unavailable on Sprint? A colleague of mine said he can't talk and browse at the same time lol.

Mustang would know answer but I think it does, icon just doesn't show. For Note 10 I had unlocked then just loaded TMO firmware on it.

I have zero knowledge about Sprint, never bothered with them. But in LTE and 5G Sprint network you should be able to talk and browse at the same time. If they have a older phone and it's connecting to their CDMA network then yes you can't talk and browse at same time. Same with Verizon, but atleast on Verizon CDMA networks are almost fully gone now.

Best Buy can be difficult with their way of dispersing the phones, often I've seen people wait on pre-orders at one location in town while I walked out of one without pre-ordering 10 miles away. The last time I pre-ordered I was there and they told me I had to come back, nobody was even waiting for a phone in the department but they had a system that they couldn't deviate from. A manager helped me out as I was about to head out of town for a trip to Florida and I would have had to wait 10 days to get it if they didn't help. Having Samsung deliver to my door this time to not worry about it.

Yeah no issues with VOLTE on TMobile with unlocked version.
