OTA software update starting 7/26.

They usually say "over several days" so some, like us, have to wait longer than others.
You can do a *#*#2432546#*#* on your touchpad for a "checkin" to see if that works.

how's Sprint LTE in the ATL?

Any idea how many days a typical roll out like this normally takes? I too haven't received the update yet. I also don't care about Universal Search, but I am most definitely interested in any possible signal boost.

The sprint community site (community.sprint.com/baw/message/454337#454337) said the OTA should be over 1-2 days, so if you don't get it by tomorrow, you should prolly call Sprint.

Spotty but getting better all the time.
I personally have not got a signal yet, but I have been in a relatively small travel circle the last couple of weeks.

As everyone knows, you Can't Stop the Signal.

Still no update! Wtf sprint?! They are really failing when it comes to supporting the Nexus.......

I wonder if the leaked update news screwed up their timetable or something. I can't imagine something like this not going out unless there's serious issues.

edit: Just got off the phone with tech support again and this is the second person that didn't know about the update. To make matters worse the rep didn't even know that the gnex is a google device and that you can't download the sprint tv app from the store even though I was told "the tv app should work fine". So I did a full reset and activation and since I still couldn't download the app from the playstore I was told I should go to a sprint store and they will try to rollback the update off my phone so sprint tv will work. So I re-installed the tv apk and it turns on now without locking up but the screen rest is a tiny box so I dunno. Nothing about any of this makes sense and the sprint employees seem very un-informed for being the "higher tier" customer support.

Probably give this a week or so and see what happens then call back and give a supervisor a piece of my mind. Please everyone that hasn't received this update or has gotten it and sprint tv doesn't work CALL them and ask them when will you get the patch and what is this tv support that's supposedly included. The rep said that no one had called in with this issue before so it definitely needs more attention.

Large companies shouldn't drop the ball so badly on simple things like a system update /endrant.

Every single time there's an update this works for me. Perhaps it's just coincidence. I did this on my girlfriend's GNex too and it worked like a charm. But you're also not the first person to say it did not work.

Are you checking for software update while checkin succeeded is still on your notification bar?

Received the update today. The one thing I was hoping they would fix wasn't. My WiFi radio still turns on spontaneously.

I got it today too. Woke up and it was ready to install. Only thing really is loss of universal search. Is this update just to prime the phone for JB?

Just received the update when I woke up this morning. Universal search is definitely gone (which makes me sad, because coming from WebOS I used universal search a LOT). I haven't noticed any sort of signal boost yet, and I don't really plan on using Sprint TV anyway.
