Ok I have been stuck at 76% for about 3 hrs, any ideas? Even after I turn the phone off it still goes right back to where it was before, 76%. It just says "download suspended. Will resume shortly".
I had the same issue. I ended up doing a factory reset. It eventually worked, but it seemed like forever for it to actually show a notification and download.

Got the update in southern NH this morning after I woke up (checked it 12 seconds before download was going to start). Update took a long while (20 minutes?) and then another 5-10 before any connectivity happened and another 45-60 before LTE lit up. But now the thing is blazing fast. Games and apps that could lag when pressing buttons now respond instantly. After some initial concern, now a happy camper! Had to turn off auto wifi to keep the wifi prompt from showing up for every app I open if I want to leave it off in an area where wifi networks exist. Will be looking for a way to turn it on automatically at home if possible but not at work.
Yeah, something's up.
My download has been stuck on 96% for a couple hours now. I'm going to bed. Maybe it will fix itself by morning.
I just randomly checked for an update and got it!! In Southern CA.. No soak test.. No root.. 9:27pm PST CHECK!!!

So I pulled the update last night (twice) and it failed about 20 seconds into the installation with the "!" in the triangle...I've defrosted everything and updated all of the apps, including the VZ ones. I am rooted; do I need to unroot? Or should I do a factory reset?
Suggestions or help would be great!
