Ota update on rooted phone

Hey i have a rooted thunderbolt and with the stock software (ics) and i clicked the update, my phone is now in a black screen with the android symbol and a triangle with exclamation point. When i took out the battery and put it back in it started and after a minute it said shutting down and now is like this what do i do it has been like this for 20mins

is there any way to apply the update without reflashing the rom? i already have your ics ota debloated rom on the phone, dont really want to have to go through the whole process again just to get the update that may "fix" texting issues
 
Just flash the updated rom and don't wipe anything.
Their OTA wasn't a zip like most people think...
It's a bunch of files that patch existing files on the device.
If you want to be updated and rooted, just flash the updated rom.
Make a backup first and grab the updated radio while you are at it. ;)
 
so if i flash it without wiping i wont lose all my apps or data(contacts,etc.) sorry for the dumb ????s
 
Curse my noobishness I don't know how to flash it can I just download the ota killer v2 to my phone then flash it(how to flash?) And I got my phone out of the loop but now it is going to update in five days , i tried defering it to 2014 but it has to be updated by 5 days
