i couldnt find a section of the forum just for Virgin mobile so here goes..

is it possible to use any other cdma phones on virgin mobile? perhaps a sprint phone?

In one word... No. Virgin Mobile phones' firmware are specially branded for Virgin Mobile so that you can't use other carrier's phones EVEN IF they are unlocked. But hey don't take my word for it, google it up.

You can only use Virgin Mobile branded phones on Virgin Mobile, however you can use Sprint branded phones on Boost Mobile. Do a Google search to find out the details.

Here's what I know.
VM phones are only identified by their ESN's, and not by their netowrk. Since VM is only on the sprint network, you would have to have an unlocked phone that has a VM ESN to benefit from the VM service and still be able to use an outside phone; which is illegal as brought up earlier.

FELONY-- how bout you all just listen to what I said and take it as a "failed try". FCC rules state (again and thats federal which makes a F E L O N Y that you cannot change the esn on any phone for any reason. So quite blowing rainbow flavored smoke up this kids ass and tell him dont do it

how come you can use sprint phones on boost mobile and not on virgin? both use sprint network
