Smart Switch

As my current phone is the S21U, it's been years since I've used Smart Switch.
In anticipation of transferring everything from my S21U to the S26U will this move over all my photos and albums in the gallery? All my texts? My Norton password safe? All my apps?
I use Nova Prime as my launcher and I will probably want to continue using that. Will my Nova settings be transferred to the new phone?

Any glitches or other possible oversights I should be aware of so that the migration of everything from old to new goes smoothly?

Smart Switch has always worked well for me. It will transfer almost everything. It will not transfer certain apps (it'll tell you which ones) and if you use other messaging apps like WhatsApp, you should back up the chats before you do Smart Switch so then when everything is on your new phone, you can restore the chats. It will move all your texts from Google Messages, all the photos you have, not sure about Norton password safe, if it does, I feel like you may need to restore the data on your new phone. For Nova - you need to back up your settings because it will not (from my past experience) copy those settings over. When it's done, you run Nova and restore the settings from the settings file you created. Things in your secure folder you need to authorize it before it will transfer. It's pretty straighforward - it will come out and tell you what it won't transfer. If you have a lot of stuff, it will take a few hours.

Back up everything through Samsung and Google back up , make a backup through Smart Switch on your PC this does complete back up and can restore later time, use Google photos back up, as for Nova make a back up through the app and send it to something like Google drive . Samsung cloud doesn't back up certain things and photos are one of them , so follow these steps your going be very close to perfect back up.
