Outlook and stock keyboard

When using Outlook app and the stock keyboard, it doesn't capitalize or word correct or input a period with double taping the space bar. It works fine on all other apps. I checked settings and all seems fine. Anyone else have this? I didn't have this on my moto z play.

It works for me and I forgot about the double tap on the space bar for the period.

Works for me as well, I just opened the Microsoft Outlook app and gave it a try.

I would love to be able to use Outlook as my default mail, but since you can't change the "archive" to "delete" in the notification shade, it's a no go for me. I like to be able to delete unwanted mail in the notification shade.

Mine does this as well. I can't even find where this would be changed in the settings. All of my other apps work with the Google Keyboard.

Mine does this as well. I can't even find where this would be changed in the settings. All of my other apps work with the Google Keyboard.
