Outlook App/Samsung Mail and Samsung Calendar' not syncing

Hi

I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 on Vodafone UK, it runs One UI 1.0.

I use Samsung's standard inbuilt calendar app as well as the Samsung mail app for my work emails.

I also have the outlook app for my hotmail etc.

I upgraded to the new operating system, around that time (but not necessarily connected) my calendar stopped syncing with my email accounts so i miss appointments etc.

Any ideas how to make it communicate?

If i put a diary invite in my calendar it doesn't link to my Outlook pc as it used to and vice-verse.
