Over 800,000 EVO 3D's Were Pre-ordered?

At Best Buy by me there was a few people other than me buying the 3D. I heard him say that they had 60 EVO 3D's in stock. Every employee in the mobile dept had one in their hand. I think this phone will do well for HTC and Sprint. I REALLY could care less about the Apple sales comparisons. My daughter has the Verizon Iphone and after playing with it I liked my original EVO better...and I like the 3D even better than that.

I think more must have been ordered online because it was available early to Premier customers. I don't think in the past with the Pre or EVO you could get the phone early. So you had to go to the store if you wanted it on launch day.

Advance sales = Shorter lines!

Sprint managed this one pretty well. I ordered mine at 6am PST Tuesday and it was here by 11am Wednesday.

The 3D was available for warehouse order a day or two before launch, most stores were getting people to have the phone shipped in. One, it leaves in store inventory for VIP customers, and two, customers are assured they are getting one specifically ordred for them instead of "pre-order" so eliminates the need for lines, wait time, and rushing.
