Overclocking question

hi when i was on kravens cm7.2 port i could overclock my phone to 806 mhz now on your mom rom i cant get it above 787 without it rebooting also when i was running kravens cm7 i had bravia engine mod or add on if that helps is there an add on like that for zvh cause i would be so happy to be able to have my phone back at 806 mhz and any help is greatly appreciated.

It has to do with the ability of the kernel and the phone being able to overclock to a certain frequency! All phones can't overclock to the same point. Running xionia redux I could go to 825mhz and using iho kernel I could go all the way to 864mhz!

It's fun to see how much you can push the wall out on these devices and squeeze it, but for stable daily use, a gain of 25% over OEM spec when needed is about as far as you should probably go. Some may disagree.

BTW, 864MHz is crazy for this thing! Nice....

Yeah but I thought it performed better at 825mhz! I can overclock my 3Dvo to 1.8ghz but it performs at 1.5ghz much better. Higher isn't always better.

hydroROM offers the ability to overclock up to 864mhz. I keep mine at about 748 mhz to conserve a bit of battery. I get an easy 2 days out of it.

Don't push your phone to far with overclocking. You could cause issues, and if you don't have a failsafe in place, you could burn out your cpu from it getting to hot.
