So I am running an app that overclocks the data transfer or whatever u wanna call it on my SD card. It currently is cooked at about 2568kb but my main question is if I'm doing this about how much life does the SD card have if I'm doing this? I just wouldn't want this thing frying up & having to go look for an SD card of about the same caliber... Thanks!

I use one called SD Speed Increase. Seems to help, dunno about long term effects.

Yeah its the SD speed booster i believe. Im just wondering about the life of it thru the long run if its running at a higher rate. Just to keep in mind. Soon im hoping we get better sd card tech.

Flash memory is always evolving. When it comes to the life of something you've OC'd and are OC'ing for a long period of time is always random as each piece of hardware has some differences. It could be a few days, it could be a few years, or anywhere in between.
