Hi. My 6 phone chargers overheat and cut out whilst charging from a 24v vehicle socket. My 2 phones are a Galaxy Note and a Galaxy Note 4. It happens with both phones. It happens with all 6 chargers. It happens in all 49 24v sockets in the many trucks I use. If the truck I'm in has a 12v socket, I use that and it's fine. All my chargers are rated 12v or 24v. They all overheat after about 10 minutes of charging. There are expensive chargers and cheap chargers. All behave the same. Any ideas anyone? Thanks.
