It does so much! How do you remember all the gestures? What are your favorite and most useful features? This is why I wanted a Note so I really want to take advantage but I need help!

I like screen off
But if you go to settings then advanced feature tap spen at the top scroll to bottom to tips for using spen then tap air action for other gestures Screenshot_20200821-223727_Air%20command.jpegScreenshot_20200821-223557_Air%20command.jpeg

Baby steps....in the beginning I just found it handy for precise cropping of images and selecting text. I also loved extracting text from images. It works great as a camera remote and the air gestures are a great gimmick. It get easier and better over time.

My favorite feature since the first S pen is the ability to jot a phone number and then call that number. My quick scroll of the user's manual didn't mention it but I may have missed it. You can do the same for websites and email addresses.

Watch Jimmy is Promo on YouTube and other videos

Sakitech is another YouTube channel that does a million video tutorials for stuff like how to utilize the s pen, plenty of videos out there but aim for more current videos.

I agree it's a lot. I'm not new to the Spen and there are still features I don't know or use often. YouTube has definitely taught me a few things though. I mainly look at videos by Jimmy is Promo and Sakitech(sp?).

The features that I know how to use are the screen off memo , using the pen to take pictures , and smart select to extract text.

This used to be called action memo on earlier Notes, I'm sure there are one or two features still missing but generally it's a handy feature.

Loving the s pen so far too. Can't believe I had a phone for years without it

Loving smart select alot

Thanks you guys! I'll be watching some YouTube videos today. Love this pen so far. Writing while the screen is off is very cool! And I did not know you could call a number from a written note. How the heck! Thanks for the tipsand ideas.

Laura, can you please tell me what adult humor you're talking about? I don't understand your comment in the context of my post. I posted no adult humor.

I played around with wireless Dex last night on my Samsung tv and it was great! It's actually the first time Dex has ever been useful for me.

Speaking of the S pen. What are the notches for? I'm just curious. Is it to keep it seated in the device or something?

It's to help hold S-Pen in place when inserted in the phone. Try it. You'll feel a slight pause.

Don't forget, you can hold the S-Pen button and double tap on the screen to take notes.
