A mere 12 days after the initial roll out of OxygenOS 4.1.0, OnePlus have just started the gradual OTA roll out of OxygenOS 4.1.1 for both their OnePlus 3 & 3T models which brings the following enhancements to the earlier Android 7.1.1 release...

  • Upgraded Android 7.1.1
  • Added expanded screenshots
  • Improved picture taking of moving objects with blur reduction
  • Improved video stability when recording
  • Improved WiFI connectivity
  • Improved bluetooth connectivity
  • Fixed Instagram swiping bug
  • Fixed hardware buttons malfunction bug
  • General bug fixes

Interesting. I already have expanded screen shots on 4.1.0. And no HW button issues. But hey, it's an update, so I'll get it straight away! ;)

Edit: no luck with Canada or Germany. Yet.

Edit 2: late morning, VPN to Canada worked and I snagged the 45MB update.

I could have used that hardware button fix BEFORE I wiped my phone :( home button and volume buttons didn't work :/

I don't understand how some phones have issues that don't affect other phones.. and both run the same version of OOS. But I guess that's not unique to OP either.

Did the factory reset clear those issues for you?

I don't understand either! But apparently it was an issue.

Yes the reset fixed it. And clearing cache did nothing. Only a reset fixed it.
