Package Disabler Pro

I have an S5 Galaxy and disabling smart manager makes android battery settings disappear. Any idea why that could be?

I disabled some 150 odd services using the basic xml shared in this xda thread but even after that my SOT is still around 3.5 hours. People seem to be getting 5 to 6 hours SOT .any thoughts of how i can make it better?

Looks like it was removed due to violation of Google's policy temporarily, so the dev modified it to comply.

It disables the apps and yes helps performance/battery. I've used it since Note 5 release. Works great for bloat and unwanted apps. Will note to be sure what you disable, some system apps are necessary for the OS to operate correctly.

It has the concept of Titanium backup for freezing apps if that helps.

Has anyone else had problems with Google now? I use package disabler pro and now when I make reminders using ok google, they don't go off. They show up in my Google calendar, but the notification never goes off. But, when I manually add reminders through the Google Calendar app, then they work :/

Just a fair warning...do not disable "Emergency Launcher" if you use ultra power saving mode. You wont be able to get out of it without doing a master reset of the phone. I speak from experience lol Other than that, I love this app. Does great things to my battery life.

I think the main reason for it being taken off the Play Store was because it allowed people to get paid Samsung themes for free. They fixed it and now is back.

Google Play says there's an update for Package Disabler Pro.

I unchecked auto-update on this app because when I first heard of it people said to set it that way so that it didn't stop letting you disable Knox. Unfortunately even with that, the app went kaput and it prompted me to re-install and I lost everything I had disabled and it didn't let me disable Knox anymore. Since then, my phone hasn't been nearly as stable with the battery life.

My question is, is it a good idea to update to this latest version of PDP? It says it's app version 4.5. And if so, do I have to enable all my packages I've disabled first before updating it?

So I got package disabler pro and installed your basic xml and renabled a few things. But my battery life has become worse! Android system is keeping my phone awake and within the android system is are things that are supposed to be disabled by pdp. Not sure what that's about. Also, light flow is all of a sudden showing up on My battery stats. Taking more power than my screen I've attached a few pictures for you guys. Hope someone can help me out!

Another thing...
Hey guys. So I did a test with my note 5. I charged to 100% before going to sleep. I woke up after approximately 8 hours and had 88% left. I did the same thing the following night and this time I put the phone on flight mode. Woke up and had 99% left. Phone was on wifi. This leads me to believe that it has something to do with the wifi connection. My wifi connection is really good. For wifi settings, I do NOT have "always allow scanning" on. Anything else I can do? I've downloaded package pro. Maybe there is something I can disable from there?
