What are the 2 viruses you have? Can you please give us their names so those of us who would like to can check our own phones?

13 Flossy, actually you never did identify the viruses or the apps. I'm starting to have reservations about your post. Please identify the viruses and or the apps. Hopefully you can understand how helpful that would be to others.

Took care your duplicates

Since i disabled carrier services i have i think about 30% better battery life and better phone reception

Thats for Google message, so Samsung Message has nothing to do with carrier service.

lever2000 didn't say which messaging app he or she is using. I think Carrier Services might also interact with visual voice mail and WiFi calling.

I'm just interested in any trade off for the improved battery from disabling Carrier Services.

I disabled Carrier Services as soon as I received my s22U (2/22). I use Samsung Messages so no problem there. I have T-Mobile's Visual Voice Mail which works fine. I do not use WiFi calling, as in my case, over the years it has caused conflicts & is just not worth it.

If I have any adverse issues from disabling Carrier Services, I haven't found it. I'm on unlocked firmware & don't use RCS.

Thanks for the info.

I use Samsung messages. Have had nothing but problems with Google messages, that was before i disabled carrier services though.
I use Google's phone app though so far no issues

Cool. Thanks. I do use Google Messages, and wouldn't want to lose RCS. Maybe I'll try disabling CS and see if it does disable RCS as expected.
