Definite yes for me. It's actually a part of the reason I even ordered a Pixel. There's really nothing wrong with my current phone lol

I ordered the Panda during the presentation. I kept refreshing the page until it loaded up. Once it loaded up I put the order in and also did the trade in. My phone will be delivered November 1-2. I am going to rock a clear case. I don't feel like messing with any skins for the phone but I still want people to see the phone with a case on it. I didn't get the protection like I did for the Pixel last year since I didn't use it. I hope it ships early. I'm ready.

The all black fronts were the biggest surprise of the product launch for me. I was fully expecting a white face to continue the design language of the first Pixels, or at most a mix of black and white faces. The complete 180 to nothing but black, along with the two different display designs, made the launch feel more Nexus-y than Pixel-ish.

Definitely a low grade for the dearth of color options. They make coral cases and coral Daydreams and coral Home minis, but not one stinkin' coral phone? Just a power button?

I know you weren’t quoting me but for reference I ordered at 10:22 and my ship date is 11/6. I ordered the unlocked.

I don’t think I’ve seen any unlocked pandas shipping before this. The earlier ones I’ve seen are all Verizon.

Thats still a tad bit earlier then my email shows mine will ship (Pixel XL Panda 128gb unlocked)
I wasnt home when they started the pre orders. But at least I got the order to go tho. I hope it gets moved up too.

I don't dislike it, but I always go with straight up black. I like my phone being sleek and kind of blonding into any case I buy for it.

It's a phone. That most will put in a CASE. Who gives a ****e about color. Buy a black and white case if it is important with to you.

I am waiting for the Pretty in Pink color.

My first impression when I saw the black and white was that someone on the design team thought it would be clever to come up with a color scheme that would emulate an Oreo cookie.

If they had offered a white XL, I would have considered it, but they didn't, so I ordered the black.
