Parse error

I am getting this message on my Nexus 5X and I have no idea why. How do you correct this error message? Any help would be appreciated!

Is that all it says? Is it when you try to use an app?

It says that randomly, not tied to any particular app.

That means you have an app thats playing up. Try clearing system cache. If that doesn't help its a case of trying to work out which app is playing up. If you have anything from anywhere other than Google, start with those

Is there any other way to get rid of the parse error? I have cleared the system cache which was no help. Don't really want to do a system reset (last resort). Any other ideas?

Found the app that was causing the problem. I did a factory data reset and as I was reinstalling the apps the one that caused the parse error was discovered.
