My Samsung galaxy s3 is randomly restarting and stuff, I want to root it as I need to remove touch wiz as that's causing it, my parents say no as it's on a contract till 2017, and it might break it and or voids warranty. I am a geek and have tasker and all that and I would love too root as I have heard great things about rooting. Has anyone got any ways I can purswade them. Thanks

Rooting most likely will not solve random reboots. I'd back up all data and reset the phone.

Look into refreshing the stock firmware via ODIN if that doesn't do it you may have defective hardware

How do you know it is TouchWiz giving you issues? I would perform a hard reset and backup your data if possible. Rooting will most likely not solve your issues and if anything changing from the stock ROM to another will bring you other issues.

The random restarts aren't the main problem they aren't too frequent, I would still like to root because of all the other benefits, but as mentioned in my post my parents won't let me
