For what it is worth, this months issue of PC World magazine put our Galaxy Nexus at #1 of their top 10 cell phones.

1 Samsung Galaxy Nexus
2 Samsung Epic Touch 4g
3 HTC Evo 3D
4 T-Mobile MyTouch 4g Slide
5 Samsung Galaxy S II
6 Apple iPhone 4S 16GB
7 Motorola Droid Razr
8 Motorola Droid Bionic
9 Samsung Focus S
10 Samsung Focus Flash

Isn't it interesting that 5 out of 10 on the list are Samsung phones?

I'm sure they are referring to the GSM version.

LOL!!! That's funny Lodingi!

FWIW I wasn't willing to trade my little old Palm Pre Plus in on any other top 10 phones. Sometimes I wish I hadn't traded it in on this phone either, but I'm still happy with my choice.

I'm just really glad to see a phone actually beat the iPhone 4s. I feel people just buy it because of the Apple logo on the back which is why its so popular. I hate that people think its 4G too

I agree fanboism on both sides is ridiculous. To be fair though, the iPhone is a dam good device.

That it is. Competition breeds awesomeness.

Yeah it is a good phone. Simple to use, and pretty nice looking displays. I almost got one myself like my wife did. Samsung makes bada*# phones and has for a long time. Their claim to fame is their display, just like their TVs (I have a pair of those).

I think the list was derived based on their star rating when it was reviewed, rather than a straight side-by-side comparison. The reason I think so is that it includes some older phones that got very high ratings last summer which may not get that rating now. I think they went with ratings during the last six months or so.

Still, I think that the iPhone would still be down in the middle of the pack.

you couldn't go wrong with any device on that list. I actually agree with the list haha those are fair rankings

I wouldnt swap my Charge for half this list

I think that both phones are great phones. The separation between an iphone and the GNEX and most any android is the type of environment you are looking for. If you want a very restrictive environment then the iPhone is the better choice. If your desire is for more freedom and customization then the GNEX is the better choice.

#1 where the GNex belongs. The only phone after the many I went through that got me to retire my Nexus One. I still think the razor should have been 2nd. imo

I think the reference to the GSM version was meant to be a joke about our "not perfect for everyone" LTE versions.
