PC World Tests Thunderbolt 4G

I haven't even tested, in all honesty, but it is fast! What app do you guys use to test this?

The difference is like night and day.

Sadly, I only live in a 4G extended area so I'm not able to test it often. In fact, during most tests, it says I'm in a 4G area but it's really running on a 3G area. Bah!

I hadn't done a speed test in a while so I just did the speakeasy.net/speedtest link...

36.92Mbps down and 3.19Mbps up.

Speed test is busted (at least on the upload). Go to speakeasy.net and use their test.

I just got 16.71up 1.48down DC area.
Even the download speed of the speed test app is not very consistent. Nor do I think tests from Speakeasy are very reliable. I've got wildly different results within moments by changing the location of the test server. Servers that are further away have produced speeds that were 5-10 times faster. Perhaps if a server is less busy it produces a higher score.

I agree that you need to take these tests with a gain of salt, although I have tested my home speeds from speed test, speakeasy, and utorrent, and I get very similar results, so there is something to it.
