Can anyone give me a step by step to tethering my evo to my macbook via bluetooth with PdaNet? I've searched, but have only come up with conflicting instructions. Is it even worth it speed wise, or am I better off sticking with usb? Thanks

I'm looking to do the same with my Epic, but none of the instructions I've found work.

Am I missing something simple, or is PDANet's bluetooth feature not compatible with a mac?

I'd rather be able to wireless tether, and not deal with plugging in / having a cable that gets caught or tangled. I'll live until I figure out how to get free wifi tethering.

any updates on this issue? i am having the same problem, and am wondering if there have been any software fixes since the last posting here.

The best fix is to root the phone and use free wireless tether or sprint hotspot on a rom with it unlocked
