PDAnet Web Access for Nook Color with Optimus S?

Sprint has blocked the mobile hotspot feature for its phones. I 'm currently using PDAnet to get web access through my Optimus S for my Dell Laptop (using a data cable connection).

If I root my Nook Color, can I somehow get web accress the same way, through my Optimus S?

I don't know about using PDAnet to share data between your Optimus and Nook, but if you root the Optimus you can get the mobile hotspot feature back. The easiest way would be to load a custom ROM like Reborn.
