PdaNet

I'm not sure about Bluetooth with Pdanet, but I use Wireless Tether from my rooted Evo and it works flawlessly and is free. The Iconia doesn't support adhoc wifi networks so keep that in mind when looking for a tethering solution.

I have wireless tethering working but for personal reasons would like to use Bluetooth tethering if possible. I used to use PdaNet with my old Palm devices and Bluetooth tethering worked on them.

I tried pairing using Pdanet and the wireless tether for root programs using just the bluetooth connect options and it was a no go on both. The Iconia doesn't appear to support Bluetooth DUN profiles, perhaps, but I'll keep researching.

Edit : might just be my EVO. what phone are you using?

I just tried with my friend's OG Droid, and it would say "paired but not connected" and wouldn't connect to it. It connects to other bluetooth devices, but not the OG Droid while tethering. I'm thinking it's something in the Acer that's not working out.

Interested in getting the evo to tether to the iconia through some tether program, have not rooted either yet, may do after this latest evo update.
Tried connecting via the published 'zoom method' they paried but not connected.
Tried to activate Sprint hotspot and bluetooth to the iconia, well I do not have a hotspot subscription but it sure messed up the evo, ftotally froze up & had to do a battery pull to get it back. Battery pull, funny thing that, use to have to do battery pulls on the crackberry ALL the time, never have to on the evo unless I do the above.
