Peculiar Problem when wiping data/factory reset

From power off, hold power and vol-down. You'll see the moto symbol and it will say fastboot. Hit vol down until you see android recovery. Hit vol up.

You'll see the android guy with a exclamation point. Hit both vol buttons at the same time.

Scroll to factory/data reset. Hit power.

Done.

Hi guys,

I think its time invoke warranty. I would have done it but am based in India so sending the handset to USA is a long process.

However, anyone facing the same problem should send it to Motorola's repair/service facility to get a solution to this problem. As i have tried everything including flashing a sbf too.

I think it is best to send the handset to their repair/service facility for speedy solution to the problem or at least a replacement.

Thx

Sent mine to Motorola and a week later was sent a replacement (reconditioned) unit. No explanation about what was wrong. The replacement is working fine so far.
