Pen falls out easily...

Same thing happened to me at work. Fell off a conference table onto run. Everything ok, but the Spen when flying.

Lol for some reason this made me think of this old quality complaint at my old job. Customer claims when opening their case the latches "flew off" so it as saved as "flying latches".

But seriously, I could see the s pen popping out like that

I have used my Note4 for over 3 years and I have lost my pen twice. I love the pen, but one hesitation I have about buying the new Note is losing the pen again.

That "click" does not lock the pen in, it just puts the eject mechanism in the fully retracted position.
You will notice that if you can get purchase on the end of the pen, it will slide out just too easily for my liking. In fact I just lost my stylus yesterday and yes, it was fully retracted.

I have the same exact problem. I broke my first note 9 pen from it coming half way out and it snapped off it still works and I can even put it inside my pen holder and I just have to tap the corner edge of the phone on my hand and it comes thought out. Anyway I purchased a new own and made sure it was the OEM pen with the Bluetooth. I put it in my phone make sure it clicks and sure enough it will dislodge from the phone surprisingly quite easily to me dismay. Sometimes I'll pick it up and it'll be just slightly unseated so I'll push it back in and put it down. I'll pick it up later, use out to take some pics and often times I'll use my note without the stylus just because I'm too busy to pull it out and mess with it and I'm afraid I'll lay it down somewhere and forget where it's at. After using my phone shots a few hours or so, I'll notice that my pen again is just barely sticking out and I'll have to push it back in. So I'm right now on my third pen because I lose my pens from them either dropping out of my phone or misplacing it Idk which are the moment but I do know it's fallen out a few times as well after dropping my phone. So honestly I don't know which is the reason I've lost my other pen and I'm sure I'll eventually find it laying around the house somewhere since I don't venture out much due to a disability from having MS and as I'm cleaning up after the dog fur or picking dog toys up from the floor to vacuum, I'm sure I'll probably find it but it sure is annoying. I'm going to try the tape thing and see if that'll hold it in.

Never had the issue. Are you clicking it in securely? It should click and lock.

The Note 9 is a great phone but this S pen is a great disappointment. The slightest fall has resulted in the S pen ejecting! I purchased the phone about three months ago and have already replaced the pen two times! I have an Outter Box and a few days ago the phone fell on a carpet and actually broke the pen in half... this phone is becoming much more expensive than I thought! Is there a phone case that has a "door" or latch that could provide additional security for the S pen?
