Permanent phone ringtones & notifications?

It may be the device doesn't like the resolution you have and is trying to adjust. Say like if you have it set too high, it is probably trying to cut it down.

Sorry if you misunderstood me. My problem is not with the wallpapers, it's with the attached ringtones in my google contact's list.

Sorry...reading too many threads. Different user who has a similar avatar was just asking about zooming in of wallpapers.
Where are you storing the ringtones on your phone?

Internal storage.
Just a thought. Before i install an upgrade, i go into recovery and wipe the cache, and the DALVIK CACHE. Could the culprit be the dalvik cache? Is that what's been deleting my attached ringtones?

Well i think it's either the dalvik cache, or the gapps pkg. I'll let you know about the dalvik cache.

That was it. The dalvik cache. Reinstalled the rom, but didn't wipe the dalvik cache, and everything came back in, including all attached ringtones. I made a backup of my contact list and put it on the internal memory. If i accidently wipe the dalvik next time, i'll install that zip with the new rom, and see what happens.
