Phenomenal battery life

Facebook was infamous for their battery drainage... A lot of social media drains battery too

Yes, Facebook is still horrendous on the battery.. I just read some recent articles on it.. Doesn't seem to state any tips to help it, but I think it's best to focus on your device. Security Master or All-In-OneToolbox are good apps to help battery, viruses, storage, etc.. They take up battery since it's running, but it should help battery at the same time due to the ability to clean up "things". Check up on what's killing your battery too in the app or Samsung settings, also possibly watch Youtube tutorials or use Google for tips, that's what I did for my previous phones.

Have been getting great life lately. I've found that being on WIFI all day is a huge factor so if I'm home all day, tons of juice left at the end of the day even with heavy usage.

Yesterday I was of wifi from about 7am to 5pm at work and still managed to get over 9 hours of SOT out of a pretty busy day on my phone, including 2 hours of Google Maps driving, bluetooth active, fairly active with Twitter, Instagram, Tapatalk, Whatsapp, BBM, a few phone calls, YouTube videos, streaming some radio at lunch and fairly active with BlackBerry Hub with a slew of emails in and out from 8 email accounts.

Impressive. Love this phone.

Screen is set to about 50% brightness, I run a dark theme. No battery performance optimization settings.

Mine was lasting about 3 days with not as heavy but a good bit of usage. However today I noticed my battery draining (to me) pretty rapid. I haven't touched the phone but a total of like 15 mins today. Charged at 100% at 10pm, got up at 4:30 and it was at 86% (didn't think to screen shot it), 5:21 down to 45%. On Mid level, no screen wake up, all apps that can be put to sleep are, notifications only for a few apps. My Galaxy S5 Active started this and before I knew it, it would go from 100% to dead in a matter of 3 or 4 hours.
Suggestions?

I wouldn't panic too quickly, there definitely has to be something that's triggering this so suddenly.

I have no clue what I did but played around with some settings. My amazing battery life s back lol. I found that Bixby and the VR were using 15% and had to force stops. I never use Bixby and got rid of my VR headset. Unfortunately I learned it makes me sick because of the 3d. So once those were forced to stop and whatever else I must have messed with its good to go. Charged it at 10 last night, it was at 100 by 11. Woke up at 5:30am and it was 99%. Currently sitting at 94%.
