Phone boots straight to Bootloader/Fastboot screen

I've been trying to root my HTC Evo 4G LTE phone and I've run into some problems. I was able to root the phone with no problem, however I wasn't able to get S-OFF due to my HBOOT version. I flashed CWM 10 rom so that I could get Jelly Bean on my phone but every time I booted my phone up, it would just hang on the boot logo.

I researched a little more and I found out that I didn't have the right kernel to run that Rom. I read that I was suppose to Flash the boot.img from the Rom I wanted to install using the Flash Image GUI app. I did so, and when my phone rebooted, it goes straight to the Bootloader / Fastboot screen automatically. I can not get it to load the Rom I flashed.

Can anyone help me or lead me in the direction to get the rom to load correctly?

Thanks

Can you get into recovery? and do you have a PJ75IMG on your sdcard, if so remove it

Yea I can get into recovery, its the Team Win one, and no I do not have PJ75IMG on my sdcard. Is there anything else that can prevent the ROM from booting?

No I don't :/ It was the first Rom I flashed so I didn't think I could make one or need one for the stock rom

what was the last rom you flashed? and what version were you on last before you flashed it,2.13?

Will the kernel that I flashed before affect whether it boots or not? I flashed the boot.img associated with the Cyanogen 10 rom

Here is my rom which is a tweaked version stock with bloat removed and added speed mods. it has a script that will flash the boot.img after it flashes. give it a try and let me know if it boots

CleanROM BE 2.3

I flashed it but after getting about 80% complete it just hangs on the TeamWin Recovery Image screen. It never tells me if the flash was successful or not

It still isn't going through. I uninstalled the TWRP recovery, reinstalled the stock and then installed TWRP again. Should I try another custom recovery and see if that'll work?

Okay I'll try that. But is there a specific method for Macs? I couldn't only find methods for PCs. And will I be able to use RUU even if I am S-On?

I'm trying to run the RUU but it keeps giving me the error code 170. I even tried to flash the rom.zip as P86IMG.zip but its not taking. Any other suggestions?
