Phone brough off craiglist now blocked from tmobile

If one were at the carrier store, could they not look up if they were charging the account for insurance? Could you not then cancel the insurance on the spot as some protection against future insurance claims? Or is this totally third-party insurance not billed through the carrier?

Insurance was also bundled into Jump! offerings (the first two, not the leasing program TMO in many cases refuses to acknowledge the existence of nowadays.)

Third party without carrier involvement wouldn't have the ability to block phones. I wouldn't worry about Square Trade or someone else doing that.

So if a device is totally paid off - is there still Jump insurance involved? I'm really not familiar with any of the Jump programs. I don't finance my phones.

How helpful would account notes be in such a case, where the store rep (assuming you can get a store rep to do this) notes in the seller's account that the phone was sold? Do you know if notes would even be visible to the insurance company if they were researching a claim from the seller?

The insurance company cannot see the notes T-mobiles notes. The store rep wouldn't do that because T-Mobile does not advocate the selling and buying of used phones. And if there were a situation caused because a rep left a note, I would bet there would be a notice sent out to all employees not to ever do that.

Yes. Remember--Jump! is more than just insurance. If you aren't "jumping" to new phones and holding on to one, you're basically paying insurance on it via Jump!

If you can get a used phone activated on your account, it must be released from the old account. Otherwise, it wouldn't work.
If you file an insurance claim, that phone has to be active on that line. So, basically, if you have insurance, damage or lose your phone and activate a different phone on that line, you are no longer able to file a claim on that phone AFAIK.

Nope, not with gsm

I purchaed 4 devices from Ebay. 2 G4s and 1 Note-4 & 1-S5. The G4's were PERFECT! Not one problem. They were selling in bulk and shipped from California (TRUSTED). A++++++

The Samsungs however, are one big scam, shipped from (BROOKLYN NY). Some bulk re-seller (The Cell Phone Nerd-https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...erd%3F_trksid%3Dp2047675.l2563&token=vCiOn_ah) shipped me a Note 4, that was ok, but the speakerphone was dead. So when you placed a call and tried to use the Speakerphone, no one could hear you.
The S5 was complete trash. I thought the problem was the battery and that was the reason it would not charge. So, I bought a real battry from another site and that was shipped, 55% charged. Left the charger plugged in and it drained the battry to 0%! Turns out the charge port was the problem.
I had to place 2 warranty exchanges on these devices. Never willI buy anything shipped from BROOKLYN NY... EVER AGAIN! And I am from Brooklyn. But it is a SCAM and The Cell Phone Nerd is not to be trusted.
If you look @ the ratings, people have complained and they won't give people their money back. I had sumn for that *** tho!

They run the scam out of this big warehouse on 58th st - https://www.google.com/search?q=140...20&aqs=chrome..69i57&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 - Buyer Beware!

I will always trust anything shipped from CALIFORNIA! Because they work and I have never had an issue.

Kind of off topic here SPCS guy? What does that have to do with the OP topic?
