Phone Contacts from Blackberry

Hello Everyone,

Pre-ordered the EVO and this will be my first Android phone. Since I've never used the Android OS, I have no clue how phone contacts are handled.

I currently have a BB Curve with A&T - and since I have some time before I get the phone I was wondering what would be the best thing to do - as far as copying my numbers in preparation.

Should I just add the phone numbers to my "contact" my g-mail account?

Download the google sync app. It will sync up your contacts and your calender from your BB to your gmail. Then when you get your EVO, and do setup, it will automatically import your contacts from Gmail. This is the easiest way to do it to my knowledge. That being said, I'm also going from a BB Curve to EVO, and the EVO will be my 1st android device, so hopefully someone will correct me if I have misinformed you.

Um any sprint store can also just do it for you. We have little machines for that sort of thing.

I wonder if that would be a better method, because the Google Sync app misses a few contact fields.
