Why does my battery drain after shutting down and rebooting my phone!?! Anything I can do to prevent I??

Are you talking about how sometimes before you restart, you have like 50% remaining, but then, after you restart you have like 10% or less? I have no explanation for that, assuming that's what you're talking about. I just know that after a couple of restarts, it's back to normal.

Last time this happened, my phone came back at 19%. I didn't panic. I didn't even reboot. I just let it run. Stayed at 19% for hours before it started going down. So sometimes, even the displayed percentage is not the actual battery charge. Weirdness - I know...

Yep, thats exactly what i'm talking about.

Yesterday I had to reboot my phone due to phone stupidity, and it went from being maybe .5 - 1 bar down, to telling me it needed to charge once it rebooted. SO ANNOYING.

I mean, not like I ever would be, but what if i were stranded somewhere and had to restart my phone and then it died because of this.

It's just more annoying then anything, esp seeing the phone takes forever and a day to charge.

Well that's the thing. Just restart it a few times. The percentage should go back up to normal. Even so, I would make sure to keep a charger or some sort at all times when you're out. It doesn't happen very often to me. What about you?

It's just an error in displaying the percentage left. the phone isn't going to die any faster. It will sit at that level until the battery "catches up" to the meter.
