Phone locked with PIN after restarting my phone

I have setup a finger print scanner for my phone and i thought after i restart my phone they will ask my finger print instead of that i was asked to input PIN after i restart my phone. i have tried most of the PIN that i can think of but still can't access it.

please help

When setting up fingerprint unlocking, a backup PIN must also be set, otherwise the phone would be inaccessible in the event of failure of the fingerprint sensor, or inability to use the fingers because of injury for example. That is the PIN that you are being required to enter, a normal requirement after a restart.
