Phone Memory ?

I have been reading about the memory issues on the Hero from Sprint. I have about 12 apps downloaded along with the ones that came on the phone and have only 16 MEG left. Is this about right, and if so it seems the issue of memory will be a pretty big deal since the purpose of these phones is to be able to get new apps for it. Does what I have seem normal, and is there a chance that the SD card can be used in the future through updates?

something has got to be wrong there, if I remember right I have 9 on top of preinstalled apps and Ill have to check but I think I still have over 100 left.

unless you somehow found 12 apps that are almost 8MB a piece or something

I think I will do a factory reset and see if that helps. How do you add back games bought from handmark once they get removed doing a reset?

I havent paid for anything, so if I reset I could just go to the market and re-find them and install them. with a paid app, maybe the info that you downloaded it before will be saved so that you can go and redownload them and not have to pay again.

I used the app install app and it was able to find it on my sd card and install it back. My memory did go back to 123 meg. It is now down to 111 meg. Bluetooth is causing the memory leak. I have to pair my BT530 multiple times due to BT being junk on this phone. I was at 123 then 118 and now 111 without installing anything else on the phone.
