ok, I've kept my noise out of this so far, but I completely understand where the OP is coming from.
I use my V mostly as a minicomputer... but I detest the bloat and background data/CPU hogging that comes with every ROM I've tested. I have to manually remove all kind of useless (to me) crapware every time I test a ROM update to avoid a bunch of junk running at startup, eating my RAM, and transmitting who-knows-what to who-knows-where.
asdullah's response seems to have been the most useful, and leslieann made a good point about being careful what you delete.
most posts have been poking fun at what I see as a legitimate question.
boo.
just because most people like things running as they are built doesn't mean everyone has the same desires or needs, and no point giving them trouble just because of a request for something lightweight.
sure, I bought this V for use as a computer, but I personally have no more use for android than any other bloated OS, it just happened to be what came with a usable device. I've been working around its shortcomings but not everyone wants to experiment and risk a bricking...
/end rant
