Phone Screen Black With Vertical Pixel Lines

I dropped my phone on my carpet floor (it hit on a chair leg on the way down) and when I picked it back up the display was completely black with colored vertical lines of pulsating pixels. Now all the buttons work and I can get on as my password vibrates when I enter it correctly, but why is the display black and is it fixable?

That is a question that is impossible to answer without someone physically checking the device. Your best bet it to take it in to your dealer and see what they say. and if you do get it fixed. Get a case that will protect from hitting chair legs.
