Phone wont connect to pc

My galaxy s2 will not connect to a pc even after installing drivers. Ive been having signal loss issues and battery drain. Was told to update via kies and it should help but cant connect!

did you install KIES? what operating system is your pc? try changing the USB cable.

Try a different USB port on your computer. If that doesn't work, try a different USB cable. If those two fail, try a different computer.

i tried it on the computer and the lap top no device would appear o,O

Hi,
I don't know iof you found a solution but I had the same problem (frustrating). The answer I found was WiFi File Transfer app the goofle play store. It has a free version that is capable of doing most transfering.
