Phone Won't Soft or Hard Reset

So I was in a group call in skype, then it ended and my screen blacked out. Over the speakers I can hear this roar of a frozen skype. I tried a soft reset, but the home and back buttons just keep flashing. Same with a hard reset. The buttons just keep flashing. Did my phone brick off this random app or is there any way to fix it. I wish I could take the battery out x_x.

Did you hold the power button long enough to force the reboot? It takes about 15 seconds or so. The lights will flash but keep holding the power button.
